Privacy Policy for SpendTrack

When you create an account, we collect your email address and any display name or profile picture you choose to provide.

We also process the financial records and planning data you enter into the app, such as:

• Income, expenses, and loan transactions
• Monthly and category budgets
• Savings goals and milestones
• Financial tasks and reminders
• Currency preferences and application settings

App data is stored locally on your device. When you use SpendTrack without a cloud account, your records are not intentionally uploaded to SpendTrack servers or Google Firebase.

If you create or use a cloud account, Google Firebase Authentication manages your sign-in, and your app data is securely stored in Google Firebase and synchronized across your authorized devices. A local cache may also remain on devices where you use the app.

We use your information strictly to:

• Authenticate your account securely
• Provide expense tracking & financial planning tools
• Synchronize your data & restore app preferences
• Deliver push notifications and reminders that you enable
• Provide technical support, maintain security, and improve app stability

Reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device after you grant notification permission.

When currency conversion rates are refreshed, the app requests public exchange-rate data from ExchangeRate-API . That provider may receive ordinary technical connection information such as your IP address under its own privacy practices.

We do not sell your personal or financial data, and the SpendTrack app does not contain third-party advertising.

Google Firebase processes authentication and synchronized app data on our behalf. Your device platform and network providers may process technical information required to deliver their services. You can review Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy Information .

Local data remains on your device until you reset the app, clear its application storage, or uninstall it. Cloud account data remains until it is deleted or deletion is requested.

We enforce strict access controls and encrypted network connections (HTTPS/TLS) provided by Firebase and your mobile operating system. While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no electronic transmission or cloud storage method is 100% impenetrable, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

SpendTrack is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please contact us immediately if you believe a child has provided personal information to us.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or our data handling practices evolve. The effective date at the top of this document identifies the latest revision.
